Last Sunday, Sage Kimzey secured his first victory of the Unleash The Beast regular season by dominating the event in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (USA). The multi-time champion took the lead in Round 2 and, in the final round, chose to ride Eyes On Me—the same bull that had earned him a win the previous week. With an outstanding ride scoring 88.25 points, Kimzey claimed the event buckle and took home a $48,400 prize.
His stellar performance also earned him 140.50 bonus points, propelling him to second place in the world rankings. He is now just 127.25 points behind the leader, Brady Fielder.
Andrew Alvidrez secured second place in the event, selecting Man Hater for the final round and delivering an impressive 94.00-point ride. This remarkable performance moved him up from 10th to 6th place in the world standings.
Among the Brazilian riders, Felipe Furlan stood out, finishing third after scoring 91.00 points in the final round on Lights Out. Right behind him in fourth place was Brady Fielder, who managed to retain his position as the world’s number one rider for another week. Kaiden Loud rounded out the top five.
In addition to Furlan, six other Brazilian riders competed in the Milwaukee Finals. World champion Kaique Pacheco finished in sixth place, followed by Cláudio Montanha Jr. and Paulo Rosseto, who tied for seventh. Alan de Souza placed ninth, Elizmar Jeremias came in 10th, and Thiago Salgado closed out the event in 12th place.
The Unleash The Beast tour continues next weekend with the North Little Rock event in Arkansas, set to take place on March 8-9.
